Welcome to The Towne Creek School!
The Towne Creek School provides an early childhood program for Infants through Kindergarten, as well as an Afterschool and Summer Camp Program. We provide opportunities for the children to grow and develop to their fullest potential in a warm, nurturing atmosphere, realizing that each child learns at his/her own pace.
The children learn through hands-on experiences, through play and engagement with their environment. Creativity and imagination are constantly encouraged. They are involved in small group and large group activities, as well as one-on-one opportunities with the teacher. The curriculum offers active as well as passive activities, teacher directed as well as child-initiated. Due to our lower teacher to student ratios, we are better able to meet the individual needs of the children.
In addition to the activities that focus on the developmental skills (social, emotional, language, cognitive and physical), the enrichment opportunities are just as important. These activities, such as Music, Spanish, Zumbini, Motor Development, as well as special STEAM opportunities, broaden the scope of the children’s learning journey. Please see our Program Information that lists our enrichment classes and a description of each.
